Bamboo: Noypi… Astig - The American Tour 2005
Good things come to all who wait. It looks like US-based Bamboo fans will finally get their chance to see the band live this summer. California-based concert promoter Happy Box has finally announced dates and venues for the band’s long-awaited tour. Bamboo will be in the US from August 3 to September 15 and according to band management will be doing a total of eight shows on both coasts.
As of presstime, six dates have been announced for the tour (dubbed as the “Bamboo : Noypi…Astig! - The American Tour 2005″) on the Happy Box website:
Friday, Aug. 5 - Los Angeles : Knitting Factory - LA
Saturday, Aug. 6 - Las Vegas : Club SRO
Saturday, Aug. 13 - San Francisco : PoundSF
Saturday, Aug. 20 - Chicago : Double Door
Saturday, Aug. 27 - New York City : Knitting Factory - NY
Sunday, Aug. 28 - Baltimore : Frazier’s On The Avenue
The tour synchronizes neatly with the release of the band’s sophomore EMI album “Light Peace Love” in June, which has reportedly gone gold on the first week (or is it the first day?) of release.
