Another Success!
As expected the FRESHMAN NIGHT 2005 hosted by the Thomasian Triskelions was a success. More than 100 students from different colleges and representatives of the Central Student Council attended the event. Program started with invocation led by a resident brod. A very lively welcome remarks was given by Bro. Marben Romero (1994). Shortly the resident brods showed their talents in singing and even the freshmen “guest” from college of music joined the program. There were also games during the program. All contestants were given consolation prizes and cash prizes were given to the winners.
The event was well attended by TAU / Triskelion Alumni of UST from batch 90’s. “This is one way of welcoming the “Freshmen” to the THOMASIAN COMMUNITY” says Bro. / Atty. Gabriel Castillo, MDG (1992). This is our second year and definitely we will make this a tradition. This is something for the “Freshmen” to look forward to when they enter college, he added. Many students has expressed joining and some junior brods also expressed interest being a Senior of University of Sto. Tomas Chapter.
While our Fraternity has remained an underground organization inside the campus, Tau Gamma Phi Fraternity is still the most dominant Fraternity in the University. But being an underground Fraternity has not stopped us from doing community service and projects inside and outside the campus says Bro. John Badillo (1990). Definitely we are eyeing for recognition since we can do more if we are going to be a recognized Fraternity.
Hail to our Alma mater University of Sto. Tomas! Mabuhay ang TOMASINONG TRISKELION! Mabuhay ang TAU GAMMA PHI!
