TAU / Triskelion Alumni of UST, TAU GAMMA PHI and TAU GAMMA SIGMA UST Chapter had a Bookdrive Project, “LIBRO PARA SA KINABUKASAN” held last June 4, 2006 at Brgy. Bomber covered court.
Resident Triskelions had an inter-active program with the community children (ages 5-10), they had a storytelling session, fun games and cheering contest. After the program there was also distribution of school supplies for the attendees just in time for the opening of classes.

As the recipient of the bookdrive project, Barangay Bomber will soon open a mini library in which they will name under our beloved Tau Gamma Phi and Tau Gamma Sigma UST Chapter; the residents will be organizing the library to cater the needs of the community children. We’ve collected seven (7) boxes of various books from fiction, non-fiction, picture books, text books, general references and other books in set were turned over to the barangay.

The aim of the bookdrive project is to share the value education and the importance of reading books in the lives of the many less fortunate children.

Trikelion Brothers residing in the Barangay assisted in making the project a huge success.

Former General Secretary Bro. Manny Gorospe and Sis. Barbs Atienza of Triskelion International Kingdom of Bahrain(TI-KOB) also attended the said project.

Sis. Celine Cardenas ‘92, Bookdrive project chairman with resident brods and sis’ are looking forward for another Community/Barangay bookdrive project recipient/s near University of Sto. Tomas since there are books still being collected.
