It was Saturday morning, January 16, 1999 when armed men abducted my older brother Edgar Bentain (TAU GAMMA PHI UST Chapter Batch 1986) outside the Casino Filipino of former Silahis Hotel along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. It will be the 6th year of his mysterious disappearance on Sunday. My family still remains in the dark as to any clues of Edgar’s whereabouts, nor real condition. We are asking the government, What now?

Bro. Ben Beltran, our beloved brother from the University of the Philippines to whom we credit the co-authorship of the Triskelion Hymn above, is no longer with us. He was shot to death by some unknown assailants on Saturday, August 21, 2005 in Manila.

Brothers and Sisters,For the next four Sundays of September, Bro. Lod Generoso ‘89 and Bro. Kenneth Maceren ‘97 will be taking the BAR exams… the most important examination they will have to hurdle to become LAWYERS.

In connection with this examination that our fellow THOMASIAN TRISKELIONS are about to take, let us all give our all out support for them. Our Bar site is at Bank of the Philippine Islands Vito Cruz corner Taft Avenue.

GOOD LUCK BRO. LOD AND BRO. KENNETH!!!
