Message from the Chairman of TAU

TO ALL THOMASIAN TRISKELIONS WORLDWIDE

The Year 2007 was a very successful and fruitful year for Thomasian Triskelions. Maraming salamat sa mga brods and sis’ na nagpatuloy na pagtitiwala sa TAU.

All our plans for 2007 materialized without a single hassle. Although the beneficiaries was not in the thousands, we have proven that in our own small way, we can alleviate society’s day-to-day problems.

In the year to come, we wish to focus on our organization. Strengthen it further. We have not yet tap the full potential of the UST Triskelions, yet we achieved a lot. In the process, we will still continue our social commitments. The Book Drive, the Medical Missions will be part of our core competence in 2008.

Rest assured that the TAU Officers will continue to serve. This will be our resolve.

On behalf of the Officers of the TAU, May you all have a Blessed Christmas and Stronger Triskelion in 2008.

Laruan para sa mga Batang Dapitan 2007

Last December 9, 2007, the day for our year-end project. The “LARUAN PARA SA MGA BATANG DAPITAN”. On it’s third year, this project is focused more on the barangays surrounding the University of Santo Tomas. This is one way of extending the fraternity’s existence outside the campus. More than 100 children attended the small Christmas Party that we prepared in Brgy 471 in Navarra St, thru Chairman Andy Perez. Games were played and prizes were won. Children enjoyed the early Christmas from the Thomasian Triskelions as everyone went home with a gift.

Balik White Cross 2007

Last December 8 & 9, 2007, the Thomasian Triskelions took time out from their busy schedules and shared fun moments with children from the White Cross Orphanage and in Navarra Street, at the back of the University of Santo Tomas.

The White Cross Project, dubbed as the “BALIK WHITE CROSS” project is nothing new to the Thomasian Triskelions. We have been involved in this project as early as the 1980’s. White Cross, as an institution, helps bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. And we have been part of that bridge.

Congratulations Bro. Nathan Azarcon (UST Chapter ‘94) of Bamboo for winning the Bassist of the year at the 14th NU 107 Rock Awards 2007 was held Friday night, November 30, at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
