Last December 8 & 9, 2007, the Thomasian Triskelions took time out from their busy schedules and shared fun moments with children from the White Cross Orphanage and in Navarra Street, at the back of the University of Santo Tomas.

The White Cross Project, dubbed as the “BALIK WHITE CROSS” project is nothing new to the Thomasian Triskelions. We have been involved in this project as early as the 1980’s. White Cross, as an institution, helps bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. And we have been part of that bridge.

The children were entertained with games and a magic show. They likewise enjoyed the food we shared with them. The TAU likewise donated used toys and two brand new microphones to augment their sound system.

Leaving White Cross after an activity was always a tear-jerking experience for the brods and sis. The children we cared for, even if only for a while, never fails to touch the heart of any Triskelion. The tears and the laughter of a child is always the true feeling of loneliness and happiness. Children waving good-bye with sadness on there faces maybe were wandering why we were there.
