The TAU / Triskelion Alumni of UST, in cooperation with Kythe Foundation, recently organized an art party for the pediatric cancer patients of the UST Charity Hospital . We been coordinating with Kythe’s programs in assuring the continuity of children’s normal life experience.
In celebration of the Chapter’s 37th Anniversary this March, TAU shared blessings through an outreach activity last Feb 19, 2008 at UST Charity Hospital ’s Kythe Playroom.

While waiting for the other kids, we had a chance to play ball with the other patients.  We started with a prayer and a short introduction of the  Big Brothers  Bro. Joey, Bro. Johnb, Bro. Baste, and Bro. Ferdie as kuyas of the day to the little ones; Sis Celine did a storytelling entitled Ang Pambihirang Buhok ni Raquel, a story of a girl with leukemia and gave out toy prizes to those who listened well… we had an art theraphy session : ceramic painting ( ceramics-picture frames were donated by Bro. Johnb and watercolors were through the courtesy of Sis. Jenny from Starpaper Corporation). The children with their parents and the TAU Members enjoyed the painting session.
 

Jollibee meals’ Chicken joy and burgersteaks were served after the session.  A cash prize was given to the best painted picture frame.  Children were also given pencils and crayons.

It was definitely a day to remember.
