It was Saturday morning, January 16, 1999 when armed men abducted my older brother Edgar Bentain (TAU GAMMA PHI UST Chapter Batch 1986) outside the Casino Filipino of former Silahis Hotel along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. It will be the 6th year of his mysterious disappearance on Sunday. My family still remains in the dark as to any clues of Edgar’s whereabouts, nor real condition. We are asking the government, What now?

Triskelion Hymn

Bro. Ben Beltran, our beloved brother from the University of the Philippines to whom we credit the co-authorship of the Triskelion Hymn above, is no longer with us. He was shot to death by some unknown assailants on Saturday, August 21, 2005 in Manila.

UST Chapter participates in National Blood Letting

In connection to our Fraternity’s campaign for the Guiness World Record for biggest blood donation by a Fraternity. UST Chapter participated at UERM Hosptital last October 1.

The National Bloodletting was held last on Sep 27, 29 and Oct1. In cooperation with the Philippine National Red Cross, where the Fraternity applied for 6 Guinness world records for bloodletting for a fraternity & sorority.

Triskelions donated blood at participating PNRC chapters nationwide and at designated places in Metro Manila.
