Tau Gamma Phi joins Grand Bida March
Last March 21, 2009 PAGCOR sponsored the Grand BIDA March where it broke the Guinness Book of World Record for the Biggest March to fight the illegal Drugs. About 500,000 people attended the said event composed of government sectors, NGOs, Elementary and High School Students.
Out of several existing fraternities in Metro Manila only TAU GAMMA PHI Fraternity participated in the said activity headed by Bro. / Atty. Jay de Castro (UST 1973) former Gen Sec of MMRC in the late 70s, Bro. Edgardo “Guy” Lopez (UST 1976) Premier of National Executive Council and Bro. Erap Panlilio Gen Sec of MMRC.
Participating Triskelions came from different colleges and cities in the Metro. There were also Brods and Sis who brought along there babies to show their support to totally eradicate shabu and other illegal drugs that would destroy the future of their children.

this endeavour is very positive and is a reflection of the good leadership
of not only the Premier but also those who trooped the line.
surely other fraternities were represented as well to some extent.
and this is good effort overall. i wish you all the best.
i salute all TRISKELIONS, families and friends who participated in this march.
i look forward to be working with you for events similar to this in the future.
