It was Saturday morning, January 16, 1999 when armed men abducted my older brother Edgar Bentain (TAU GAMMA PHI UST Chapter Batch 1986) outside the Casino Filipino of former Silahis Hotel along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. It will be the 6th year of his mysterious disappearance on Sunday. My family still remains in the dark as to any clues of Edgar’s whereabouts, nor real condition. We are asking the government, What now?

Bro. Ben Beltran, our beloved brother from the University of the Philippines to whom we credit the co-authorship of the Triskelion Hymn above, is no longer with us. He was shot to death by some unknown assailants on Saturday, August 21, 2005 in Manila.

V. Luna Hospital Pediatric Ward Outreach Project

In connection with the whole year round celebration of Tau Gamma Phi UST Chapter’s 40th Anniversary on March 2011, Thomasian Triskelions had an Joint Outreach Project at V. Luna Hospital Pediatric Ward, Cancer Unit.

The said Joint Outreach project is also participated by Jaycees International Antipolo, Confraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes and Dr. Dominic Garcia last March 27, 2010. During the outreach project the kids with cancer had art therapy activity and parlor games.
