It was Saturday morning, January 16, 1999 when armed men abducted my older brother Edgar Bentain (TAU GAMMA PHI UST Chapter Batch 1986) outside the Casino Filipino of former Silahis Hotel along Roxas Boulevard in Manila. It will be the 6th year of his mysterious disappearance on Sunday. My family still remains in the dark as to any clues of Edgar’s whereabouts, nor real condition. We are asking the government, What now?

Bro. Ben Beltran, our beloved brother from the University of the Philippines to whom we credit the co-authorship of the Triskelion Hymn above, is no longer with us. He was shot to death by some unknown assailants on Saturday, August 21, 2005 in Manila.

GMA 7’s Summer Saya Event Supported by Triskelion Singapore

We would like to thank those who watched GMA 7’s Summer Saya Free Concert that was held at Dhoby Ghaut Open Park last May 30, 2010. Triskelion Singapore Council supported this Filipino event and at the same time we headed the over-all security of the show and with Sis Bobong Cutiongco serving as the emcee. The event was attended by Ambassador Minda Cruz. Thanks to the producers and organizers! Salamat mga Kapuso!
